This painting is part of a series of works that I represented by drawing the subjects with these somewhat geometric shapes, they are paintings full of symbolism, here the woman sitting on the snake is a symbol of power, the pendulum that represents a bit the thought of happiness expressed by Schopenhauer (which I partly share), the hand stops the hands of the clock because time must be marked by emotions. The woman with the Banjo is a symbol of harmony, beauty and sweetness. (Sweetness in a fine sense)
